Queue up for Gap's desirable new khaki line created by CFDA winners Alexander Wang and Vena Cava
Credit cards at the ready, queue-shoving elbows sharpened… yup, that’s right – another fabulous CFDA designer collaboration is about to hit Gap stores. And since we’ve worn our Philip Lim-designed white shirts from the last one to death, we personally can’t wait to snap up another bit of limited-edition loveliness.
The idea behind the Design Editions project is to give the winners of the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Fashion Fund award a high street showcase for their dazzling talent – that’s right, folks, we’re talking the most exciting new names in New York fashion. This time, the clever things have roped in white-hot Alexander Wang plus another two up and coming designers – Albertus Swanepoel and duo Vena Cava – to put a fash-wan twist on the old Gap favourite, khaki. We’re especially all over the graphic print khaki dress by Vena Cava, £48.
The collection hits stores next Tuesday but we thought it only kind to give you some prior warning – we wouldn’t want to have an unfair advantage in the queuing stakes…
